I am born and raised in Sault Ste Marie and felt I could not live or work elsewhere. I attended several universities receiving degrees based in biology, toxicology and neuropharmacology. My final degree was Doctor of Optometry in 1990 which allowed me the freedom to come back up north. I opened my solo practice in September 1990 and have enjoyed the years of practice.I am constantly increasing my education and knowledge of the new techniques, drugs and procedures. I am a current member of the Ontario and Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario College of Optometrists.
My practice encompasses all ages. All patients, whether a toddler just beginning to explore the world or someone who has seen and experienced a lifetime of visual wonders, brings a different personality and visual concern to the chair. Every patient has the capability of educating me.
In my off-office hours I enjoy family (all my siblings came back home), a crazy dog Gizmo, a personality plus horse Sambucca , golfing, kayaking and visiting far away places.
